  • Primary Red
  • Dioxacine Purple (I also show how to mix your own out of red & blue)
  • Yellow: Primary yellow or Deep yellow
  • Phthalocyanine blue
  • Titanium white
  • Burnt Ember or Dark Brown
  • Black: Carbon black or Mars black

For wiping brushes: Paper towel or old rag

Container for water: I use old food containers like yogurt

Palette: Paper plate or waxed paper or piece of glass or plastic

Brushes Used: #1 Round, #6 Round, #6 Bright, #6 Flat, #8 Filbert

Easel: This is optional. You can work flat on a table with no easel for most paintings. An easels come in handy because they save table space and some techniques like dripping require a vertical canvas. Table top easels are great, light weight and affordable. Here’s one of my faves:
